Salt City Showdown Presents Donations

On Sunday September 7th, 2014, the charity car show known as The Salt City Showdown was held at Premier GMC in Rittman. The Weather cooperated beautifully and 155 vehicles attended. This was the highest attendance in the show’s four year history.

The high turnout permitted the show organizers and sponsors to hand out $1,200.00 to two local charities, each receiving $600.00.

On December 3rd checks were presented to Rittman Shop With A Cop, and to the Rittman Community Christmas Basket Fund.  This year’s checks bring the total the car show has donated in the past four years to over $3,600.00.

Show organizers report that all the Salt City Showdown sponsors have already signed on to the 2015 show.

The 2015 Salt City Showdown will be held on September 13th, 2015 at Premier GMC.  For the show’s fifth anniversary the organizers hope to have some special attractions and a silent auction of some interesting items.  Watch our website for further details.
